The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a Forestry and Related Industries Safety, Health and Environment Officer. They will ensure that forestry and related industry companies adhere to the legal requirements in terms of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation, in line with industry systems and standards in order to direct and support management in achieving its safety, health and environmental goals and objectives. The duration of this course is 18 Months with monthly contact sessions, some of which will include workplace practicals.
